At Santa Cruz Catholic School (SCCS), we do not want economic hard-ship to prevent parents from giving their child the quality Catholic educa-tion that they desire. The “Adopt A Student” program was created for parents who, because of lack of financial resources, do not feel they can send their child to SCCS. Adopt A Student provides tuition grants to fami-lies unable to pay their child’s tuition.

Adopt A Student is funded by “godparents.” Godparents are individuals, organizations or businesses in our community who donate funds because they strongly believe in the benefits of a Catholic education. Although the role of a godparent is so important in the life of a student at SCCS, godparents are not told the names of the students they sponsor.

Applications for grants are available at the beginning and throughout the school year. We understand that economic hardship can happen at any time, so forms are always available in the case of an unexpected eco-nomic hardship. Applications are reviewed by the Pastor of Santa Cruz Parish or the Principal of SCCS and are kept strictly CONFIDENTIAL.

The tuition rate for the 2011-2012 Academic Year is $3,900 per student for Catholics. Sponsorship of fees, uniforms, and school supplies are also wel-come. Sponsorships are tax deductible.
